My name is Soumyodipta Mukerjee. I was born and brought up in Kolkata, West Bengal. My father is an IIT engineer who is currently retired and my mother is a housewife. I am the younger daughter in the family. I have an elder sister who is married and settled in Bangalore. I believe in values and principles in life and am a simple down-to-earth girl. I have done my Masters with History from Calcutta University. I have done my BEd and now working as a teacher in an English medium school in Kolkata.
About my partner - The person should be decent, responsible and hard working. He should be having a good family background. He should be highly qualified - masters or higher than that - and should be religious with values and principles in life. He should be having a good sense of humour.

My father is a civil engineer from IIT Kharagpur and is now retired. My mother is a housewife. My elder sister is 7 years elder to me and is married and settled in Bangalore. She is a working woman.
