My daughter is presently pursuing Phd in mathematics from a prestigious technological institute of India.She did her Msc in maths from the same place.Her late father was a proffesor in Mech Engg in a reputed engineering institute of the country.Her younger brother did his BTech in Comp Sc (IIT) and MS (USA) .He was a 2005 all round topper at IIT. He is now married and will join Phd at EPFL Switzerland from early September 2010.He used to work in Google ,Bangalore. My daughter is willing to pursue a career in academics after marriage.
On the lighter side,she is simple,fun loving,humorous and very down to earth.

About our family

Our's is a highly educated and progressive family with deep roots in tradition.We have no beliefs in any type of superstitions regarding caste,horroscope etc.We pursue simple living and high thinking.All her maternal uncles and cousins are educated and highly placed in their respective fields.Paternal uncles were central govt. employees.They are presently retired.Her father suddenly passed away in Oct,2009 due to a massive heart attack.He was a very good human being and was immensely popular amongst his students and coworkers. Although it was a huge shock for her and all of us we are boldly facing life.
